Sort your library books by using a different colour label to signify the genre!

Then identify the type of genre by printing your own pictures on the labels!

For example:

Fluoro Orange labels = REALISTIC GENRE

Print a picture of a DIARY = Diary Stories eg. Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Print a picture of an ANIMAL = Animal stories eg. Black Beauty

Print a picture of a PERSON = Family and Relationship Stories eg. The Friendship Maker

Print a picture of a SPORTS BALL = Sports Stories eg. Specky Magee

The coloured labels make it much easier for students to find books in the genre they like!

And it makes it easier for the library assistants to shelve the books too!
