What is continuous computer paper?

History

Computer paper first appeared in Australia in the 1960s. With the increasing use of computers, it quickly became the most common stationery product purchased in the office. Peaking in the mid-’90s, this time-tested product still has a place in the modern-day office today.

Usedin dot matrix printers, continuous computer paper is produced with sprocket holes on the side of the paper, to feed through the tractor feed rollers in the printer. There are perforations on each side allowing you to tear away the sprocket holes leaving a clean sheet.

Multipart Forms are also called CarbonlessComputer Paper or NCRComputer Paper. NCR stands for ‘No Carbon Required.’ There is no easier way to print a 2 part, 3 part or 4 part form.  Once printed the forms stay together and any other information can be written on them. The image is transferred to all copies. Then the form can be separated and handed to all relevant parties. Available in plain white or personalised, the uses are endless.
